Wow…I am on time this week. Will start with a quote:
Pretty good one huh?
Well time is passing by quickly and we are in October. We got a blast of cool air when we woke up on Saturday. This was a great start to the weekend.
Before we get it to all the fun things that we did over the weekend in the cool weather we will talk about our week. Tuesday Gavin went to karate. Wednesday we finally got to go to one of Chris’s games. We had rain cancellations and late games the past few weeks. Here are our photos from the ball field:
Gavin was not paying much attention because a 6 year old was teaching him football. He was so excited. Speaking of excited, Chris got a home run that night and they won the game.
Thursday it was off to Bounce U. Gavin loves doing this on Thursday night. I had my camera still in my purse from Wednesday so I got a few shots:
Those kids move so quick it is very hard to get a photo. It was one of Gavin’s friends dads birthday so as an added bonus we had cake that night.
Friday was another adventure. It was Connors birthday so we went for pizza at his request. Here are our photos:
Look how tall Connor is! Amazing!
Saturday morning I went to get my “FALL” hair color and Chris and Gavin headed out to enjoy the cool weather at the park:
Then when I arrived back home we went outside to work on cleaning the back yard up. After all we don’t go back there in the summer much because we don’t hang in the heat. Now we will hang back there and with company coming it will get used more than normal. Here is our project under way:
Chase was super happy about the weather and headed out back and would NOT come in:
While we were out there working I walked in the house to check on Gavin and he was playing poker….
Silly kid!
Saturday night it was off to our friends daughters SWEET 16. Boy was that a site:
The theme, clearly, was PINK. The kids really got creative.
Sunday we got up and Chris went to work. Gavin and I went to the park with his friends from school and their families and then off to McD’s. When we got home I made stuffed green peppers, folded lots and lots of clothes and then it was painting these cute little pots:
I think I need to outline the eyes and nose and mouth in black so you can see them better.
Anyway…this is a short week for me and when I return from my little adventure we will have some much awaited company….gonna be a GREAT OCTOBER…..In parting, I leave you with this:
Now, isn’t that the sweetest thing you have ever seen? LOVE THIS DOG!
Everyone have a great week.
