Twas the week before Halloween

Saw this quote today and just loved it.

So last week was a blur…can’t remember a thing.  I do, however, have some added photos from the visit from Grandma and Pop Pop to share:

 

we had such a nice visit.   Chase misses them as much as we do:

Anyway here goes:

 

See those feet?  Those are on my pillow and this is how I get kicked in the head when Gavin sleeps with me.  (only when Chris is out of town thought!).  Just thought I would let everyone know just in case I end up with a black eye one of these days.

Saturday we were off to trick or treat at Sea World with our neighbors the Bensons.  Gavins costume had not arrived  yet so he wore last years costume:

 

This photos is bringing a great day to a close by the kids eating cotton candy.

We had no idea that this was going to create quite the “sugar monster” …Gavin was a mess the rest of the night.

 

Sunday it was Farmers Market , park, and Pumkin Patch.  WE had Gavin’s friend Josh in tow:

 

They were such good boys and we had such a good time.  our fune for the day, however, was not over yet.  We had other things to do such as decorating mini pumpkins with sharpies:

 

and riding bikes…..

and playing Wii….

It was such a fun weekend.  WE have an equally as fun week planned this week.  Friday is Trick or Trunk at Gavin’s school, Friday night is the Fall Festival with our neighbors and on Saturday Gavin will go for his “yellow belt”.  We know he will do well.

Before you know it …Halloween will be over and then it is time to start prepping for Thanksgiving…but FIRST…Chris turns 40 on Tuesday…Yay….
