Well it was a fun weekend but again my camera was hardly in tow. All of our photos are actually from Chris’s phone. First we kicked off our weekend with a nice haircut for Gavin. He always loves to go to the haircut place because he gets to play with their train set:
Here is Gavin with his friend Makayla. They had a great time playing on the ipads when we went over for a visit on Saturday night. The guys watched sports and the girls looked at our upcoming “craft” projects. We are expanding from our usual Christmas cookies:
Monday we went to Universal Studios…..fun fun fun fun….I can not even express how much fun we had. Here are a few photos:
Backing up…we went to the UCF game on Saturday night. It was also a great time. Really gets you in the spirit for the best time of year here in Florida. It was 70 degrees and breezy:
As far as an update on NY…still just horrible. Here are some photos of the GREAT GREAT people of Westkill taking things in to their own hands…they decided to just build a bridge themselves so people could “get out” that were stranded:
these are just amazing people who give a whole new meaning to a sense of community and giving.

Anyway…just got the crafting bug…..
Gavin….he is great. Just as talkative as can be. Starting to read a little. He is going nuts as I type this because he saw I typed his name. Everything is “ I want to go to Universal next week” or “ I want to see grandma and pop pop on Wednesday” or “I want Nick and Connor to come to my house”. Of course there are lots of variations. I just love that this kid is so happy and fun loving. We are certainly blessed!
