Good Sunday night to all. It it getting to be fall but the temps here don’t feel like it. That is alright though…we just crank up the air and make it cool and stay inside! Anyway..have not had a quote it a while and this is the one I have collected this week:
Boy oh boy, couldn’t we all use a dose of that quote. I know I can. So back to FALL. With fall comes all the good warm foods and decorations. Yes, that is what has been on my mind. Let me show you what we have done at the house decorating so far:
I have a lot more on tap but just taking it one thing at a time. Also, what has been on my mind are all the treats for the coming season. So far I have dug out the crock pot and made some yummy fiery pork chops and a whole chicken. We have chili that will be in the near future and here are some photos of some recipes I have planned:
All looks good right? We will see how far I get.
Well this weekend was fun as usual. Friday night we did go to Papa Joe’s. Saturday we went to do our RE-do of the Science Center but with our neighbors. Gavin was very excited because he just LOVES Ella. They had the best time and we did not even see 1/2 of it. Good news is that this will now be a FREE event for us and our family when they visit because bought the little annual pass and it came with guest passes for us to bring our friends and family. Lovely NO CROWDS and fun for all ages. Here are our photos:
As you can see we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We were there only 1/2 of the day and did not even come close to seeing it all. Should be fun.
That night Chris and I went to the UCF game. The game was against Boston College. It was such a fun time and of course I have no photos.
On to Sunday…….yep..we did nothing. We hung out at the house in our PJ’s and munched all day long and enjoyed each other. I started a new jar at the house where I write down funny things that Gavin says. I got two good ones this week so here goes:
“dad, I am not shy with the cheerleaders anymore, are you shy with the cheerleaders dad?” (he was shy with them at the Buc training camp and he saw cheerleaders this week when we were driving by a football game and that is what he blurted out to Chris in the car)
So I say to Gavin “you are spoiled son”
Gavin's response “no mom, food is spoiled”
So anyway…there is your entertainment for today. All is good here just moving right along and looking forward to the cooler weather and some up-coming family time….our week this week is nothing unusual. I will be going to a scrapbooking event next weekend and can’t wait to get caught up on my photos. Everyone have a great week!
