Another week....

Hello everyone! I am going to make this one short and sweet. (although the week seemed to take a century to go by!!!) Chris was traveling in NorthWest Florida and Alabama at the beginning of the week. Gavin had a fabulous week at school that ended with a visit from the Lake Mary Fire Dept. Yes, they brought the fire truck! Other than that the dog about drove me nuts and Chris is now on his way home from Boston after working there all weekend. Gavin and I ran errands and did chores around the house. Mostly getting things ready for Gavin's 2nd birthday party the weekend after next. We got everything accomplished and even mixed in a trip to the park where his party will be two weeks from today. Here are a few pictures:

I am very very glad that we chose this park as he LOVES LOVES LOVES it. There is a nice little pavilion and I have a feeling that he is just going to have a great time.




One of the things that Gavin was up to this weekend was making a complete mess. Fine with me as long as he is happy. The below pictures are of him deciding to put his own shoes on:

Well...since I can't get them on and I AM almost 2...I guess I will have a fit.....

The funny thing is that Gavin was crying and saying "help mommy". I love the fact that he is learning to use his words and tell me what he needs.

Another thing that the little guy is in to this week is stickers. I should have taken a lot more photos but here he is with the leftover Valentine's Day stickers:

Chase went on vacation this weekend so we could enjoy the back yard without him jumping all over us.




Next...we decided to make more of a mess by drawing tattoo's on our self with markers:












Anyway..as you can see, Gavin and I just hung low and enjoyed the weekend. If you notice he is wearing short sleeves and it was finally nice beautiful sunny weather in Florida like it is supposed to be.



Looks like Chris will be home most of the week this week. My mom is coming for a visit for about 10 days and next weekend is all booked up. Catch up with everyone then :)
