This is a word that we heard over and over and over and over again this weekend. It is Gavin’s word of the week. Well, I don’t like covers. Well, my dad said it was ok. Well, I don’t want to lay down. Well, I am not hungry. Well, I am going to go play. Well, I think that is beautiful. So very very cute but every single sentence. Enough to drive us a little nuts but this too will pass.
I found this on Pinterest and just love it:
Just have to figure out how to make it and I will be good to go.
Anyway…..I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We sure did. Thursday we headed over to my sisters house and we had a great day. Here are a few photos:
It was a fun day followed by a very early bed time for all. Why you ask? Well because the day was busy, we did our Christmas photos and us girls had to get up to go Black Friday shopping at 11:30 p.m. Crazy you say? NOPE…being so many stores were opening on Thanksgiving night and all kinds of crazy hours it was not bad. We were out until 4 a.m. and I can not even tell you how much money it saved us! The deals were amazing. Here are us girls before our outing:
And Shelby having a midnight snack before hand:
Friday it was up and at em. Gavin stayed with my sister and the kids and off Chris and I went for his birthday trip to St. Augustine. We stayed at the World Golf Village and took a shuttle in to St. Augustine:
We had the best time! Lots of cool things we saw and we ate and ate and ate. It was so awesome. We also slept 12 hours. Something both of us needed beyond explanation. The next day we got up, finished off the last of our holiday shopping, bought a new train for around the xmas tree and went grocery shopping. Then off to get the little man who spend the day at Universal with my sister and the kids.
Today we spend decorating and getting things in order around here. It was a fun and productive day. When Gavin woke up from his nap we had the train set up. Talk about a kid coming unglued! Here are some photos of all of the excitement and our Christmas set up this year:
Lastly, I have to tell you this ELF…Marlin…he has been quite the little trouble maker around here this week. Look what we have found him doing:
Stay tuned…. you just don’t know what this guy may be up to next. Everyone have a great week and we will be back in DECEMBER…..
