Home? Does anyone think we know what that looks like? Yes, even we like to spend some weekends at home. This weekend was one of those weekends. We went to dinner Friday night, however stuck close to home the rest of the weekend. I ran out to Target and got Gavin a new suitcase. It is a Lightening McQueen Suitcase. He insisted that it was a back pack. I then took a back pack out and put it on his back. Then told him to put his new "back pack" a/k/a Lightening McQueen Suitcase on his back. When he realized that he could not....he was all on board with it being a suitcase. He wheeled that thing all over the house, with his trains inside. It went upstairs when he took a nap and even went outside to water the plants as you can see:

And it was even in tow for our 3 year old tantrum time:
Part of our relaxing weekend at home included an extra special treat and that was having dinner in the living room on snack trays. Gavin thought that was SUPER cool:
Sunday we ventured out and went swimming. Gavin was in regular form just swimming his little heart out:
That is it....we just got the rest of our summer vacation plane tickets and reservations done and did some stuff that needed to be done around the house. NOW THAT....is my kind of weekend.

Oh wait...my mom asked me today about karate for Gavin. Yes, it is going very well. He has earned two black stripes and a yellow stripe. Those were earned by meeting goals at home, earning stars for things such as good behavior and helping mom and dad at home, brushing his teeth, practicing karate and practicing karate timing (doing things the first time he is asked). He just loves it and it got even better when he got his practice break board this week.
