Happy Father's Day weekend! This week we are going to go more pictures and less words because I have an over abundance of photos because of my new camera. I also want my readers to know that this is a very time consuming thing to do each week so just know how much I know you enjoy this or I would not take the time!
First, this is Gavin with his "new movie". Gavin loves "new movies". This is just to tide him over for the exciting release of the new CARS movie this next week:
This photo was taken for no other reason than to hold over Gavin's head when he gets older:
A few Father's Day gifts Gavin made at school:
Gavin had water day at school this week. He was so excited:
Then Friday night was dad's night at karate. Dad got to go out and do karate with Gavin:
Saturday, Gavin was reunited with Josh. Josh is his bestfriend. Josh has been away for 2 weeks and will be out of school for the summer. Gavin is crushed. They were so happy to see each other at Barnes and Noble and then at the play area at the mall:
When we got home we got a surprise visit from the cousins (they were on the way back from picking Nick up at camp). We ended up with a family game day:
Backing up...because I got ahead of myself. Because Gavin and I were at the mall we decided after Josh and his family left to take a trip over to Build A Bear. Gavin has never been there and was very interested when we passed by. Gavin made his very own first Build A Bear. He looks just like Chase and is wearing a Lightening McQueen outfit. I named the dog Lighting, however, since then Gavin renamed him as DOG KACHOW(that is the noise Lightening McQueen makes).....also and most importantly while we were there, Gavin wanted to make his dad a bear. He made daddy KARATE DADDY. Here is the whole process in photos:
Filling the bear:
Rubbing and warming up the heart:
Then there was Father's Day....Here is Gavin prepping the card for Chris:
Then getting ready to head off to the Rivership Romance:
Then we arrive for our BRUNCH Cruise:
It was a fun fun time and we ate so much! While we were on board we ran in to a co-worker of Chris's. He lives on a house boat. Here is a photo (it is the big one all the way in the back):
