It is a tradition....the beach....

So we had a great great week. Swim, karate and work. Swim karate and work. All wrapped up with a trip to the beach that did this to Gavin:

I am going to interrupt myself by saying that my new camera is AWFUL! It is broken already and I threw the receipt out. Mad mad mad is the understatement of the year. Oh well..I am in the market and I am going to get a decent one. I can not function with a crappy camera. Anyway...my point is that my pictures are pretty crappy for the time being.

Ok..so back to Daytona for our annual Memorial Day trip. Our first night we went out for cheese steaks. The place was a place that ships the bread in from Philly. The cheese steaks had cheese whiz and all. Pretzels for dessert of course. When we got back to the hotel, this was our view:

Lots of fun. Then of course there was the pool swimming....holy cow....that was all Gavin wanted to do now that he has had swim lessons. He ran Chris ragged but this kid can swim 1/2 of the length of the pool. Simply amazing! Here are some photos and a video:





























I must say..Chris is the BEST TEACHER EVER. Gavin learned so much at swim but so much more from the WORLDS BEST DAD AND HUSBAND! I was incredibly proud.

So we had a great great time and here we are a day in to the week and a few days closer to both of our nieces graduating. Tons of company next weekend. Should be fun. Until then :) Have a great week everyone.
