In the words of a 3 year old

One thing we learned this week is that kids say the darndest things. While we took care of a lot of errands and had some fun along the way, we definately had a barrel of laughs along the way.

Saturday we headed out to the Farmer's Market for some fresh produce and then off to run errands. Along the way, Gavin got the worst haircut of his life:

Yes..there is a photo of the person who did it. So..to make him feel better, we took him to the zoo to JUMP again. Fun but not as much fun as last time. While I am making fun of people I will go ahead and show you the photo of the tatoo that this "gem" of a worker had on the back of her neck:

She knew it too! She played the part! Anyway...I will stop being mean and add photos of the jump and of the train:

This was about the time of our first big funny. Gavin had a melt down because he could not go on the Merry Go Round. It was way past nap time and we had already told him he had the choice of the train or the Merry Go Round. He chose the train. When he did not get his way he threw an all out melt down. I told him "Gavin..you have a choice...stop crying or you go to your room when we get home" His response "I want two more choices MOMMY!!!!" OOOOOMMMMGGG.....Never laughed so hard.

Next up...pool and swimming:

Later that night we had dinner together at the table. Gavin was not eating so I was making a big deal about the bites he did have. I said "Daddy: Gavin is having his second bite" His response: "and I don't want a third". YES FOLKS...he came up with that!

Sunday was a lot of fun. My neice Emily was in a dance competition here in Orlando at Lake Eola. I googled the event and found out it was a Children Festival. OVER 12,000 people attended last year. Guess what? We got up early and headed out for some of the fun. First there were butterflies, bounce houses and a place to eat called "RELAX" (like that is possible with me around). Anyway, here is our big boy before we left:

and then festival fun:

Here are pics of the dance competition:

And after...we found this awesome swan in the park:

Lastly on the funnies: I say to Chris "Chase really needs a walk" Gavin comes running in from the train room and says "mommy.....I know....daddy do it" SMART KID, eh?

So that is it for our weekend. Up next...oh WAIT...our neice Ashley had prom this weekend. We were not there but we are proud of her so here you go:

So last but not least. Gavin just gave me another funny while I was typing. He says: "mom may I have a turn".....I say "in a minute" he says "say absolutely"...I laugh....he says: "don't laugh". OH yeah right. He is too funny.

Everyone have a great week.
