Kicking off 2011 right

Well it was a fun weekend and this brings me to my quote:

Yes, I am copying from a song from the 80's/90's but that is how I feel after this weekend.

Firstly, we kicked Friday off by going to Papa Joe's for the first time since September. We had such a great time. Gavin was at Parents Night Out and he actually was looking forward to pizza and movies with his friends. Saturday, Chris worked and Gavin and I ran errands. After all of that our friends that we call the A family (everyone in the family has a first name that begins with an A) came over. A little bit of football and children playing and it was awesome. Here is a picture of Gavin and Ainsley playing their harmonicas:

Jumping back. We got Gavin a Wii game for toddlers while we were out on Friday night after Papa Joes. We are going to limit the use but it is called "Wi Fit-Nickelodean". Gavin loves it and he is especially good. He is grasping it well.

Sunday morning off we went to Hollywood Studios at Disney. We wanted to go to Epcot but the Disney Marathon was going on and that was the start and finish line. My friend Sonya ran the race and did a great job. We did not see her but I sure am proud of her. The race ran through all 4 parks and it was tear jerking to watch these awesome people running their hearts out. Some you know trained for a long time and traveled very far for this special day. The crowd was cheering them every inch of the way and some of the runners were even dressed up in Disney gear. Very awesome. I would like to run in the 5K next year. They have a family fun walk/run, 5K , a 1/2 and a whole marathon. Anyway...we had a great day. Here are our photos:

Lastly...the weekend did not end so well because the Eagles lost. Other than that our other updates are....Chase is getting better by the day. Him and his paw are requiring us to medicate him. Now Gavin keeps faking being sick because he wants medicine too. I finally told him you are sick when you cough or don't feel so good. So then he coughs and tells me he does not feel so good. Tomorrow Gavin goes to the dentist and the week other than that will be just a normal week. My neice Shelby lost her grandmother today so I sure we will be spending some time with her.
