This is the beginning of the time of year that I look forward to the most. Probably because it took so long to become a mom and what I looked forward to during my many years of waiting were the Halloweens, birthdays, family outings and the major holidays together. I am smack dab in the middle now of my son really loving these things and it just becomes more enjoyable by the day. After all:
So it was a great week in the Lollis house. A great busy week. Work has been plentiful for me and Chris has been plugging along with his school work. He is taking 4 classes and it 1/2 done with his semester. He is eagerly awaiting his break in December. In the meantime, he is doing very well in school and we are very very proud of him! Gavin...well Gavin starts basketball tomorrow and soccer on Thursday. This should be fun. Curious to see how he will do! He is talking up a storm and is just the sweetest most loving child. I would love to freeze time at this age!
Speaking of basketball. On Thursday Chris and I went to the opening night for the Magic at the brand new Amway Center. NOW that was an experience! The old arena was just going to a game. The new arena is an experience! Here is a photo from our seats:
On school on Friday Gavin had a parade, party and trunk or treat. I could not make it because of my busy month end, however, I did manage to get this photo of Gavin with his best buddy Josh from the school website. Chris went to the trick or truck and enjoyed that with Gavin and our neighbor Ella and her mom and dad:
We kicked the weekend off by heading over to the pumpkin patch. Bad choice to wait until the day before the big day. Yuckoooo....stinky bumpy pumpkins. We enjoyed the patch and ran in to the Tannlers. All in all it was a fun time and, as always, a great photo op:
That evening we were watching a little boy named Nate. We went to the City of Lake Mary trick or treating. Here are the pictures of that and Gavin with Nate playing:
Sunday Chris worked, I cleaned house and then it was time for the festivities to begin. We started the carving of the pumpkin:
