Happiness is.......

I am BACK.........

What a great quote huh? How many people can say that they want what they have? Well, realistically , we all want more but being satisfied with what you have is a great place to be in life.
I was hoping that the great quote would make up for my lateness this week! Been trying to stay away from the computer and focus on little projects around here. All of it is hard to get accomplished because Gavin wants us to play with him 24/7. We have so much fun. Here is an example of the trouble he has been in to lately:

Yes, walking around in our shoes. He will not want to see this picture in about 12 years so I am going to go ahead and share now. DON"T tell him later please. OK? Thanks.

Now, remember the duck....my cousin Rhonda sent it to us. Just to remind you:

This is our duck x 6:

Gavin loves little projects. He talks about them too! My ducky grow he says! Anyway, thanks Rhonda. I try to make sure that Gavin knows and understand who all of these cool things come from. We really appreciate being thought of so often and it is great to know we are so loved!

Speaking of projects.....off to Lowes we went this weekend. Daddy was able to go with us and our neighbor Ella and her mommy and daddy. We made "spooky mirrors". Again a great time:

We thought we got to keep the hammer, however, as we walked out of the store we got called out as if we were stealing. We really thought it was a giveaway. We took it home last month! When she asked for them back, Gavin and Ella both about burst in to tears. Funny thing is this...she told them to just take the hammers home because she did not want them to cry. Just what two 2 year olds need...hammers! This mommy will be hiding the hammer.

Next up...Papa Joes for lunch. This is evidence that Gavin is now eating pizza (and everythig else in sight):

Next up...a birthday party. We were looking forward to this all week. Ainsley is a friend that Gavin made at his gym class. She stays with her grandparents while her mom and dad are at work each day and she just loved it when she started going to the gym. She was very ready to meet friends and it was not hard for her to do. She is so sweet and just loves Gavin. Her party was so cute. The theme was Alice in Wonderland:

Our teachers from the gym even came to the party and provided the entertainment:

There was a cotton candy machine too. Anyway...it was lots of fun.

Sunday we just hung out at the house and enjoyed each others company. The rest of this month consists of all kinds of good stuff. The fall/ halloween stuff is so much fun and we can't wait to enjoy it all with our precious little boy that BY THE WAY...is growing up too fast.....I will end this with two pictures....one of last Halloween and one of the Halloween before:
