Booooooo.....

Boooo....and Happy Halloween week everyone! Forgot my quote last week so here goes for this week:

Anyway, let's add a little fact to this week that I thought was a bit interesting. Did you know that this year, October has 5 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays? This only happens one time in every 823 years. Interesting.

With that said, I will tell you it was a great week. We are in full Halloween spirit. It helped that Gavin got 3 packages this week. He was so excited. The first from Kathleen. It was a great little light up skeleton shirt with a basketball on it. The next was a package from my cousin Rhonda and it was candy and a pumpkin carving set and a skeleton drinking glass. Lastly, and as seen below there was just a variety of Halloween goodies including shirts and toys from grandma Lollis. Here are my photos of Gavin opening that package:

Gavin also went to the gym this week for free play and had a blast. He might be starting basketball this week. We will find out tomorrow. We are on a waiting list. This should be interesting. He is excited when we talk about it.

Speaking of talking. Gavin's latest and greatest is this....."um um um...I know mommy"......"let's go play trains". And we have"I want dinner mommy" or "I want this one not that one" or even better than that "uhhh huh" instead of "yes" and "nut uh" instead of no. We are also in a stage of wanting to play games on the computer. Love love love Sesame Street.org and the Thomas the Train websites. We like to climb in to our own seat, buckle our own buckle, climb out by ourselves, clean up our own messes, and throw things in the laundry and the trash. Sometimes we get confused with this though.

On to Saturday.....well we started with a bit of sword fighting with dad:

Then we headed over to see Shelby all dressed for homecoming. We liked the stairs at her house:

We then went to Epcot. We were meeting some friends at the Food and Wine Festival but Gavin would not have any part of it. We were going to go home but we ventured over to the Magic Kingdom because Shana and Andy were over there:

It was a late night but fun. After the fireworks we went home and got up to go to the Zoo Bash on Sunday. Gavin wore Nemo and went trick or treating at the zoo with his friend Ainsley from his gym class:

Then we went home and Gavin crashed for 4 hours.....that is all folks...have a spooky week.
