It is all about us???

First I will brag on my sweet little boy and tell everyone that we really did not need that time out chair. He listens so well and knows when we mean business. I am also going to say in the same breath WHY DID NO ONE TELL US that at this age they are MASTER manipulators? This kid can get us to DO anything! Our biggest issue is still sleeping but we are working on it. I had lunch with some friends of a friend today and they made me feel much better that they had similar issues. Really is nice to have other moms to talk to!

Well this weekend was a bit different. We usually spend every waking second with Gavin (as we should) but we had a lot of adult time! It was good for us and it was good for the Gavinator. Friday night Gavin went back to school and watched movies and went to bed while mommy and daddy went to Papa Joes as usual. This time we were not hurrying through dinner . As much as we missed the little guy we both enjoyed being able to "hang out" and talk with the adults.

Saturday we got up and took Gavin to a local playground that we discovered recently. Gavin just loves this little playground and we have gone every weekend day since we discovered it 2 weeks ago. Here are our photos:

After the playground we went to the Farmer's Market and then ran a few errands. Gavin wanted no part of a nap because he was having so much fun. Saturday night Chris and I attended a wedding for some friends of ours. Jennifer and Mike. A nice small back yard wedding followed by quite a few of the attendees going to Carlos and Charlies . It was a lot of fun but we were ready to get home to the little guy . Congrats to Jen and Mike. Many years of happiness. Here are a few photos of our evening:

Oh...did I mention that while we were at the wedding Chris's sister called and let us know that his mom broke her shoulder? HOLY COW...how terrible. Chris's dad was out of town and is now home helping her out and hopefully this will heal right up. Guessing we will know more soon (surgery or what not....)
Sunday we chilled out most of the day. Gavin as in such a fabulous mood. We went to breakfast with Tony and Lisa and the boys at Cracker Barrel. Football in the afternoon and then before we know it...here we are on Monday. Power was out at my office today and they could not get it fixed in a reasonable amount of time so we got to go home at 11. Geez...nice to have a free day. That is about it.....next up the U2 concert Friday, my sisters housewarming and nephews birthday party and then Sunday we are taking Gavin to Elmo Live!!!!! CAN NOT WAIT!!!!
