Well the weekend started out great....we went to Papa Joe's even though Blake and Sandy were out of town (Scott their son who is still here went with us).
Saturday morning we got up and could not decide what to do. Gavin did a little coloring:

The final decision was to go to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time. We went with the Davis's. We went on to Chuck E. Cheese and Gavin had a blast. It was a bit overwhelming. He was like a magnet to the slide and was trying to climb up it backwards while kids were sliding down it. Had lunch, left with a lot of tokens and was disappointed that it did not entertain us for more than an hour and a half. Here are some photos:

We then ran some errands and the Davis's came over for a little seafood feast. I wish I had taken a photo of that but did not so we will just have to tell you that the crabs, shrimp, mussels, crab cakes, BEER and turtle cake were fabulous!
Today Chris played golf and Gavin and I went grocery shopping and he took a nice long nap. A pretty uneventful day.
NOW the horrible part. On our way to Chuck E. Cheese my mom called. I just knew it was not a good news call. My cousin Eric passed away in his sleep. How could this be? He is only 30 years old. He is my Aunt Rosie's only child, my grandmothers only grandson, and the father of two awesome kids. Just horrible horrible news. I still can't believe it and don't even know where to start to pay tribute to Eric. What comes to mind? His love of the railroad, king of the snowmobile, awesome mechanic and his love for his family and his quest to make them happy. So...funeral plans are underway and I am not sure when exactly it will be but I am going to be leaving around Wednesday. I am flying in to Allentown PA and dropping Gavin off at my in laws so he can spend a few days with them his cousins and his Aunt Erika (they are there visiting). In closing I want to post some pictures of Eric that I just thing are awesome. They are from the last time I saw him, which unfortunately was when my other cousin passed away about a year and a half ago. The reason I picked these photos is because one has the rail car in the background and the other is at our family camp and he was so proud that he found the water cup that we used to drink out of the spring with.

RIP Eric...you will be missed so much by so many
