Birthdays, Food and Dog Bones

Well here we are Friday already. This week has flown by. One person down at work after being out of the office for a few days will do it to ya! I survived as always. It was a busy busy week.

I can not believe how many birthdays this week either! Jen, Lisa and Christie were who I celebrated with this week. Wednesday night the ladies went out for our monthly DOLLARITAs to celebrate Lisa and Jen's birthdays. We had a blast. The margaritas really are a dollar too! Thursday we took Gavin to the doctor again. YEP he is allergic to milk and soy. That pretty much rules a lot of things out! Back on baby formula until he is 2. It smells and he does not like it. This is not going to be fun, HOWEVER, he is already sleeping better and his rash has improved by about 50% in the past 24 hours. He does have terrible eczema which breaks my heart. Cetaphil baths and lotion 2 times per day.

Anyway, Thursday night Chris and I are watching TV and then the phone calls start pouring in. Yes, Michael Vick has been signed by the Eagles. The comments ranged from the Philadeplphia Beagles to there being a dogfight over who is the starting QB for the Eagles....Facebook was off the hook and Chris was about to rip his phone off the hook. It was pretty funny. He did take Chase (our dog) to see the press conference upstairs on the big screen and Chase decided to give Vick a second chance ! Anyway...I am telling this story so you can appreciate the last part of my post so hang in there. .......

Lastly, there is Friday. We went to dinner at Amura with the Tannler's for Christie's birthday. Kids eat free which is a bonus and Gavin has company with the girls! What a fabulous dinner with great company. The best part was when Chris's dinner arrived, apparently the chef made a special roll for him. He called it the "Vick Roll" here is a photo:

HALARIOUS!!!!!! Apparently, Ben set this up in advance and Chris and I are still laughing. Here is a photo of Gavin with Makayla and Madison as they enjoyed dinner too:

Then off to the Tannler's for some ice cream Snickers cake....YUMMY! Here is our Happy Birthday Christie photo:
