This post is for POP

For those of you who don't know...two of my dads interests are cars and tapping and brewing maple syrup from the maple trees on his property (which formerly was my great grandfather's farm land ) in upstate New York. The past few days Gavin has done some really fun stuff that my dad would get a kick out of. Firstly, Gavin got his second car. His first car is a 69 Camaro that my dad bought when Gavin was 7 weeks old. Gavin often gets an update from pop as to maintenance issues and the trophies won at local car shows, etc. Anyway, Gavin got his second car yesterday after his ENT appt (yes tubes are going in either next week or the week after). The first thing that Gavin did was open the hood like he was going to work on the car. Next he had to check the tire pressure. It was such a hoot. THEN...he decided to take a spin. Our photo for today, July 9, 2009 is of Gavin playing with the maple syrup bottles. Gavin has been playing with these empty bottles since he was about 10 months old. Today he decided to give me a raspberry spray while playing with the bottles. Loved the photo and i hope you do as well.
