and school is out!!!!!

and you might say that my child is not in school yet so summer does not count.  Well don’t count on it.  Gavin is out of school for 8 weeks.  The amount of weeks gets bigger by the minute.  So our revised plan is Vacation Bible School this week, New York the next 3 weeks, a mini vacation with dad the next week and then karate and sports camp.  Whew…Gavin is having a good summer.  Not off to a good start though.  We are sick today.  NO strep throat as we thought though.

Anyway….we had a good weekend this past weekend.  Saturday we went to a train exhibit with some of Gavin’s friends and moms:

Gavin was in charge of produce!  Next it was off to the Splash with his friends:

 

Sunday we went to church, breakfast and then to see Madagascar 3.  It was a ton of fun.  Here are a few photos:

Backing up…last week a group of me and my friends decided to have a “craft night”.  We decorated wine glasses and it was so much fun:

and lastly, Gavin started Vacation Bible School this week.  I have been with him and it has been so much fun until we had to leave since Gavin was sick today.  We are working hard to be on the mend so keep your fingers crossed for us.  Here is his photo on his first day:
