What season you ask? The season where we are done. Done done done. October to March seem to be very hectic for us and we officially have NOTHING on tap. I will probably start spring cleaning, working on my photo albums and this will be the time of year we do all the free stuff like going for bike rides, beach and swimming and enjoying the lovely evening weather. Maybe we will take Gavin fishing or start learning how to play ball. Whatever the case I feel awesome that things are officially calmed down. Our Monday through Fridays are still what they are but we will work on this down time.
First I am going to back track. I forgot to mention that Chris went to the NBA Allstar Game which was held here in Orlando a few weeks ago. What a privilege to go to this game. Chris was very thankful to his friend Joe who took him:
anyway….they had a really nice time. Chris brought Gavin back a basketball and so it began. He wants to play basketball all the time and is doing very very well:
This called for some immediate action (LOL)…so Chris decided to take Gavin to his first Magic game. Boy did they have a blast:
Looks like it was a hit. Chris met one of his co-workers and his kids there so Gavin had other kids to play with as you can see.
Anyway that catches up the stuff I missed last week. Now on to Gavin’s birthday. Well at school we had a cake and we had a balloon man come in and make the kids balloon animals. It was a hit:
I think Gavin felt very special and this made his day. After school we went to Toys R Us and we picked out a new bike and then went to I Hop for pancakes. Gavin's favorite.
The day after the birthday day we played hooky and Gavin and I went to the Strawberry Festival with my sister and her family. Emily was performing and did great as usual:
Later that night when we got home the bike riding began:
This kids is off and running. There is no stopping him now. We have been out there every single night and Gavin is doing FABULOUS. So glad we got him a big bike!
Saturday was Gavin’s birthday party at karate. He had 14 friends and had a ball:
Then his cousin Connor was able to spend the night and boy was he a happy camper. We went to see the Lorax that night and went to IHOP for the 2nd time in a week for dinner. Connor and Gavin picked it.
Sunday was off to LEGOLAND Florida. It was a bit rainy but we had a great time using the tickets that Santa brought. This place was so beyond cool with all the animals and cities made out of Legos. Look carefully:
Can you believe all of this? Those elephants above and the cities…all made out of Legos. Amazing….
So that is it…if that is not enough! Tomorrow night I attempt green popcorn for St. Patrick's Day. Wish me luck.
Catch up with everyone next week
