Tis the Season......

So here we go....the busiest time of the year for the Lollis family. Kicked off with Valentine's Day. Gavin had a great fun party at school and after school we took off over to Ms. Judy's house. It was her birthday. Much to our surprise, she had a surprise for us. She had strawberries for Gavin to dip in chocolate and cupcakes for him to ice and decorate. It was so sweet and nice:

Gav was covered in chocolate but that did not stop us from heading out to My Gym for a little play time! The week went on and my dad arrived on Wednesday. We went to dinner a Tijuana Flats and then my dad and Gavin went outside for a little fun:

Then it was off to show pop how well we could do a 24 piece puzzle!

Thursday Gavin went to school and Chris and I headed over to the camp ground where my dad and his friends stay in RV's for the races. I went to the twin 150's race with everyone and we sat in the Sprint Tower. We had a great time and it was a beautiful sunny day:

Oh...we traveled 3 miles to the track on bikes:

That is the way to travel to a race. On Friday Gavin and I did some running around and I peeked out back as I was ready to pick those oranges and the tree was PICKED! I was able to get 3 stragglers that night:

Classic case of you snooze you lose! Oh well.

Friday night we were off to Toms house. Our friends from KY were visiting with their awesome children Grace and Griffen. It was a great time with a bunch of great friends. Here are a few shots:

Saturday morning it was back to Daytona. This time we were braving it with Gavin. This is before the race:
This is on the way over to the race:

And once we got it...we had to get ear protection:

and we had to take a look at everything......

Gavin had the BEST TIME EVER....it was a complete success. We will do that again. This is a precious photo on the way out:

and another:

Then...back at the campground...Gavin wanted in on the pool for the Daytona 500 the next day. Look at this high finance:
He actually came in last place...that won him $15 and he only put in $5.

Anyway...Sunday was off to Lori and Mikes for the Daytona 500. They set up their sons old Thomas table:
Then they got out the CARS stuff:

It was a fun day and Gavin LOVED IT!!!!! and that my friends is the understatement of the year!

today was a catch up day...I am getting everything ready for Gavin's birthday in two weeks and we have company coming that week and a few weeks later. We did take some time out today to kick the ball around and swing at the park:

Gavin did awesome with the soccer ball. We could not believe after our basketball fiasco how well he did! He loved it, seemed focused and kicked the ball correctly! Lots of fun on this sunny 84 degree day here in Central Florida!

Lastly, we spent some time doing the goody bags for Gavin's party. Here they are all lined up and ready to roll:

That same weekend my aunt will be here from Ny and we are having a 70's party for Shana, Emily, Gavin and my Uncle Ross....big birthday week. We are making tie dyed shirts and pet rocks...I have most of the supplies so far:

Well back to work tomorrow. Everyone have a great week. Stay warm and be safe out there. I know we are the only place on earth that is 80 degrees right now. We will take that heat over the hazards of the north and while we are enjoying the sunny sunny skies...we look forward to baseball spring training in the next few weeks too!
Oh wait..in between all that...I went to a casual class reunion Saturday night that the Oviedians have every few months and I took Gavin to the zoo today...whew...I am tired!

I will post some videos this week...so stay tuned!
