Don't know where to start. Left off with last Sunday I guess. Want to throw in another picture from that day that seems like it is a month ago after our very challanging week this week:
The reason I start off with this photo is that this was an inspiration to us for Gavin's birthday. Gavin loved this train table so much we decided to buy and new one for him for his birthday. We are in the works of getting this all done for him and making it as cool as the one over at the Saltzman's house. We are taking the old table and converting it from a train table to "Radiator Springs". This is the town that the movie CARS takes place in. It is going to be awesome.
So Monday was President's Day. Chris worked and Gavin and I ran errands and went to the Zoo. We had a picnic and rode the train. This is my only photo and it is from my phone that does not take very good pictures.
Tuesday was back to work after a short vacation for me and that meant back to school for Gavin. It was short lived! Here is a picture of him after school on Tuesday:
Shortly thereafter, very much to our surprise, Gavin came down with the flu. It was horrible. High fevers and a very sick little boy. Stressful as can be and no fun looking at the four walls in this house for days on end. We did watch CARS about 132 times. At least! Here are a few photos Chris took as Gavin was on the mend:
So finally by Friday night Gavin was up and running again. Good thing because his best friend Josh had his birthday Saturday. Gavin COULD NOT WAIT. The party was at the same park that Gavin's party was last year. It was so much fun! Here are a few photos, starting with just pic I took of Gavin before leaving for the party:

Then when Chris got off work at 1 we relaxed, rode bikes about a mile and a half and then we cooked out on this awesome 80 degree Central Florida day. Does not get better than this!
Big week ahead. Gavin back to school. My aunt and uncle coming Thursday, off of work on Friday, Saturday big 70's party at my sisters, Sunday Gavin's big 3 party at MY GYM and Monday Gavin's birthday and we go to the Florida Strawberry Festival to watch Emily perform. Good times ahead! Have a great week all!
