trains, chocolate milk and the beach....

Well after a tough work week it was nice to have a 3 day weekend! The week flew by so the only think I can remember in the whirlwind of things is that Gavin was terribly upset that "Rosie" the train had no number on her. Nothing a sharpie won't fix:

He has not let go of Rosie since! Very cute!
Before we proceed with the weekend update, I am going to add my supersticky of the week:

I have chosen this one because I keep reading in the paper about an aquantance of mine from high school who rescued a 14 year old at the beach this weekend from the rip currents. The 14 year old was with a church group enjoying the holiday weekend. The 14 year old did not make it. I bet the family would have loved to had one last chance to tell them how much they loved this young lady. A very very sad ending and some big heroes that did their best to save this girl.
Anyway, on a happy note. Off to the beach we went. Got there late Friday and of course, our little prince had to take all his trains. He even slept with them:

This is a great shot of Gavin these days. We need stock in YOO HOO because we are single handedly keeping them in business:

And at first we were more interested in lining up trains than going to the beach:

Then we came around and this is where we landed:

NOOOOO......not the big awesome building on the right, our little place in the little tiny quaint place on the left. Daddy and Gavin did some swimming:

I finished the first in the Jacqueline "Jack" Daniels murder mystery series:

and we got a little beach time:

and more swimming swimming swimming (as dory in Nemo would say):

then we had to take the trains for a trip out to the beach:

and lastly...after being in the room for 24 hours doubled over and sick...I was able to come out and enjoy a little bit of the fun and watch the guys play bocci ball:

Right after that Gavin went down and he was playing to. Very cute.

Anyway...that is all folks for this week. Going to work on posting some videos.
