Time flies

Well Labor Day has come and gone and this can only mean one thing. The rest of the year is going to fly by. This is when we hope the weather starts to change but the hustle and the bustle of the holidays begins now. For that I am not ready, however, look forward to the spirit of these seasons. It will be a bit different this year because we will, in fact, be in Florida though the each holiday and our vacations are all up for the year. This is fine because Chris is in full swing with school and I have a co-worker getting ready to go out on maternity leave. We are hoping that perhaps some of our family will make the trek down here for at least one or both of the holidays since we are unable (hint hint).

Anyway with Chris now officially in school full time and working part time, it has taking some adjusting around here in many many ways. We are all doing well, however I always tend to worry worry worry. Things always have a way of working themselves out which is going to be inspiration of my weekly quote, so here goes:

We will leave it at that.....

So this week was a bit stressful. Crazy busy at work for me and a few bodies short. All for very good reason, however, it still made for a tough week and very long hours each day. The only thing that really bothers me about this is the length of time Gavin is at school. Here I am living to talk about it so just time to march forward and move on.

Our weekend was very relaxing. Gavin went to movie and pizza night at school on Friday and Chris and I went to a place called Cork and Olive after a very fun Papa Joe's and enjoyed just sitting around talking. We also ran in to and spoke for a while to our wedding photographer. An early night but it was nice.

Saturday morning was a day that Gavin has been looking forward to for a month. We went bowling with Ella. She is our neighbors 2 1/2 year old. They had a blast. Of course my camera battery went dead. This is all I got:

Seriously, look at the shoes!

Ella telling Gavin how to do it:

It was a success and this is the picture Ella's mom took of the kids walking to the car:

Chris had to work Saturday night and Gavin and I just did laundry, hung out together and went grocery shopping. Today, of course was the Eagles first day of the season. We have not left the house today and of course watched the game. Here is a family photo:

I will say that I am very sad that I had to miss an un-replaceable moment with my family this weekend. My cousin Jessica got married. We are so happy for her and wish her all the happiness in the world. The whole family was there and they even called me to let me know that they wished we were there during the reception. Here is a photo of Jessica and Billy:
Everyone have a great week xoxoxoxoxoxo
