vacation vacation vacation...did I mention vacation

What a chore...catching up on this after 2 weeks and lots of pictures from vacation. We are not home yet, however, Gavin and I will be headed that way tomorrow. We have had a great time but there is a lot of missing of our beds and our doggie Chase. So here we go....

Day one was travel to PA and an added bonus day with Grandma and Pop Pop. Best part of that night was enjoying a push up and hanging with Chief:

Next day it was off to NY. First five minutes of the car ride, Gavin poured an entire chocolate milk all over himself....oh joy!

Then we arrive at this paradise:

Mountain air, wind chimes, lots of green and beautiful weather made for a great start.
Our activities included taking a dip in the stream with pop under the bridge: (it was 100 degrees out!)

a picnic with family:
throwing rocks over and over and over again:

a bbq with friends and family for my nieces birthday:

rolling down the lawn with the cousins:

an ice cream stop for the whole family:

swimming at my cousin Rhondas:

Swimming at Ray and Tinas beach:

canoeing :

more playing at the beach:

riding the four wheeler with pop:

a graduation party for cousin Ryan:

a train ride on the Catskill Mountain Railroad:

Dinner out with Pop and Kathleen:

and a fun day at my Aunt and Uncles Christmas Tree Farm/ Hunting Camp:

Then off to PA for some real excitment at Dorney Park. This place was fabulous. Best. Amusement Park. Ever. A little lazy river with dad:

and some rides with all of us:

Then a little bit of relaxing, watching the All Star Game and a hot dog feast and off to bowling the next day:

Some loving on Chief:

and some wrestling and playing with cousin Brent:

Then a seafood feast compliments of my mother in law. Whole Maryland crabs, steamers and oysters. Yummy....

and finally some splash action at the Promenade with our friend Anna:

There are a million stories and great memories from this vacation but I try to keep this short and sweet and to the point. Next post is a story I want to tell about a little boy named Michael on our train ride while in NY. Will share later...have a good week everyone.
