Today is Sunday Funday and I have music on my blog now!

Well it was another great weekend, however, what weekend is not?  What have we been up to?  Well our little guy has been quite the character.  When you tell him we are going to do something, he does not forget.  This is new to me so I have to watch what I say and/or promise.  Saturday was a great example.  I told him we were going to Epcot again and he remembered that all day long.  We were not going until the evening and he just kept reminding me!  When we got there he promptly reminded me that KEY MOUSE (short for Mickey Mouse) was in the neighborhood.  Here are a few shots of our evening adventure at the Garden Show at Epcot with my sister and her husband:

We had a fabulous time but unfortunately daddy had to work.  Back to the part with the little guy remembering everything.  Another thing he remembered was that I told him we would go get chicken nuggets at McD's on our way back from my sisters house.  He fell asleep in the car so I did not stop. When he woke up he was rather upset because there were no nuggets!  Really have to watch what we say!

Today, we were scheduled to go to the beach but decided we did not want to go anywhere at all.  I decided to set up a water wonderland in the back yard for the little guy.  Holy moly did we have fun....we had two pools and a hose. The hose was the hit.  The pools were fine, but they technically would not have been necessary. 

So all was good with us this weekend!  Some other tid bits from the week.  The little guy is so far past the ABC's and counting.  We are on going from 1-25 in Spanish and reading books ourselves.  He can not actually read, however, he memorizes what we read to him and at bed time, story time he turns the pages and reads to us what he has memorized! I love it. 

What has been going on with me and the hubby?  Well, me....just working and taking care of the family.  Hubby is in school 2 nights a week and is taking another online class.  He works part time for the city and is doing contract survey work.  All of that is working well for us and really that is all that really matters!

Now that I have that off my chest....the next few weeks will be busy busy busy with the little guy going to the children's gym Monday, Thursday and Saturday.  Hubby in school Monday and Wednesday and working about 2-3 other nights per week.  What we are most looking forward to is our trip to the beach with 9 other fun families over Memorial Day....let the fun begin!!!  Everyone have  a great week!
