This picture pretty much sums it all up! Gavin was so playful, loving and full of kisses this entire week!
Grandma came to visit from PA and boy did we have a fabulous time. Thursday night we started with me getting a speeding ticket with Gavin and Grandma in the car. Once we got past that it was all good. (did I mention that the police officer was a complete jerk!!!) Firstly, after dinner Thursday we were swinging and swinging in the back yard between all the kisses Gavin was giving Grandma:
Oh, here is our newly re-claimed back yard. Still work to do but it does not look like a bombing range in Iraq any longer out there! Chase has his 1/2 of the yard and back screen porch and we have a 12x 12 patio and a hole free grassy outside play area for Gavin:

I will post some better photos next week.
On to Saturday, first Cracker Barrel for breakfast:
Then the beach:
Funny thing that Gavin was doing this weekend was telling us "what hurt". While it is great that he can communicate this to us, that also comes with a whole lot of faking. See below:
So after the beach and a lunch outside on the water in New Smyrna Beach we headed back home. Grandma babysat so Chris and I could go out for dinner for our anniversary:

We went early and got home in time to put the little guy to bed and in time for Chris to read good night stories to Gavin:

See this guy.....
Let me tell you how happy he was that grandma came to visit! He was so good and he got lots of treats!
Sunday....we went to the pool.....
Only to find that it was filled with pollen and leaves and Gavin would not get in (after falling in) because he thought it was "dirty". We went back to the house and hooked up his ball that sprays water:

Grandma taught him how to drink the water. It was very very cute:
eating ice cream. We all had fun and Gavin was a barrel of laughs. Hope everyone has a great week.
