This weeks update 2+

I don't have much this week as I was out of town for work at my managers conference and did not get to spend much time with the family. As the designated picture taker....it just does not happen if I am not around. OK..truth be told. The camera batteries went dead.

Well this week started out extremely rough. Gavin hit 2 right on Que. At first we thought it was sugar overload from the birthday party but I think it was a combination of turning 2, sugar overload and a lot of changes at school for him. He had been with the same teachers and kids for over a year. He now moved up with the big kids and all of the other kids formed a whole new classroom that Gavin is no longer part of. It was necessary because they wanted him "at the next level" but it was really hard for him. 3 days I picked him up he was crying and he did not take his entire naps. It was even harder for him that his days were longer because Chris can't pick him up (broken ankle)...so he has been there a little longer each day. We made it through the week, no luck on the potty training, doing a good job on homework , lots of temper tantrums but it leveled out. This is a whole new week and he did fabulous at school today.

Saturday during the day and Gavin attended a bowling birthday party. I thought there was no way, however, the guards were up, the lights were out (it was cosmic bowling) and he loved rolling that ball down the alley. It took 100 years to get there but it was super duper fun. We will go back and do that one of these weekends when Gavin can get every turn. He was not quite in to the taking turns part but we made it! Here are a few photos that the family took with Gavin and I in them:

Other than that....there was a true lack of excitement around here. Chris would probably argue that point as he had Gavin overnight and could not walk, however, they made it through.
