Our not so scary Halloween

Hello everyone! What an eventful fun week in our house. We are all so tired but it was all well worth it! Here are a few photos of Gavin receiving all of his goodies from grandmas and my cousin Rhonda for Halloween. Thank you to all of you for the cards and gifts for Gavin! As you can see he had a blast playing and opening everything!

Friday was quite the eventful day for our little pirate. We had to wear the costume to school. I thought our costume was going to be a flop because the hat made the costume and he would not wear in in the morning. By the time we got school for his party in the afternoon he had it on and all was well. Here are some shots from Gavin's classroom party:

When we were done Gavin was very eager to get out in the parking lot for trick or trunk as you can see...............

He looks like a regular professional heading out for trick or treating doesn't he?

In the parking lot at school parents could decorate their trunks and give out candy. They called it trick or trunk. It was very very cool and we are going to decorate and give out candy next year. We have 364 days to come up with ideas of a "themed trunk" so let us know if you can help us think of something:

Below is Gavin with Emma. Emma and Gavin have been together since he was 11 weeks and she was 14 weeks old.

After all of that fun Gavin got all dressed up in his Gators gear for dinner at Papa Joe's ....

Off we went and when we got there Chris was not feeling well so he went home and Gavin and I stayed. We took a few photos since we had bought Chris a cake and wanted him to see that we were celebrating his birthday without him....and we really missed him!

No worries...we did a re-do of the cake the next night at our house! Saturday we relaxed and did the regular household chores and errands and then it was time for trick or treating. My sister and her husband came over to go trick or treating with us with Gavin. Gavin was like a regular pro. He gave us no trouble in his costume and we got in his car and off we went:

When we got back Gavin wanted to stay in his costume:

Then Gavin and his Aunt Shana rubbed balloons on their hair and were sticking balloons to the wall. They had a blast.

When that got boring Gavin enjoyed answering the door and helping hand out candy. He was the official door closer ....

Then Louis showed up in his costume. Guess who he was.....

Gavin did not know what to think....

What a night! The only thing that was terrible about it was the Phillies losing. Off to bed we went and of course Gavin woke up with a fever in the middle of the night. Teething bit the little guy again! Plenty of Motrin to keep the fever down and Sunday we woke up and sang Happy Birthday to Chris and off we went to Disney World. This was our first family trip. I am not sure who was most excited. Here is our view on the way in....

Then once we got inside....

Our first character viewing and photo was with Pluto:

Look how beautiful the castle is.....

Then off to Mickey Mouses country house...look at all that cheese in the refrigerator!

Gavin loved it because the whole house, furniture and all was about his size. Here is a shot of the cactus garden:

Then off to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Daddy started by giving Minnie Mouse quite the greeting:

Here is our family photo with the two mice:

Then off to It's a Small World. This is my favorite ride. Gavin just loved it but was getting sleepy.....

Gavin and daddy went to stand in line for the Dumbo ride and look what happened:

He woke up in time for the ride in the elephant:

Then we were tired of taking pictures so we took a break! We went all over and had a great time. Shana and Andy were with us which made it a lot of fun too! At the end of the day Gavin and I shared a root beer float. Here he is hogging it all:

Then off we went! WHEW.....it flew by. That is all folks...have a great week and I will upload our videos asap..they just take forever!
