Friendship is a good thing......

So....mans best friend is a doggie right? Well I am willing to bet that man was this doggies best friend this past weekend! We took our big doggie to the BEACH. Yes, you heard it here. Chase knew something was up. We loaded him, our beach gear and Gavin in the car and off we went:

When we got out of the car we got nervous because we were not sure if he was going to go nuts. We proceeded with caution but there was no need to. Chase became a regular pro within minutes:

Then we made it down to the water:

and as you can see it was a complete success. We were there for just over an hour. It got hectic at moments but we were so glad that we did it. I took two videos and will add them shortly as well.

Off we went home and Gavin starting asking for his friend Josh. Good news is that Josh lives around the corner and his mom and dad had sod to lay that day so he came over for an extended play date. Thought it would be good and it was BUT....these two littles boys know how to fight! Not fist fight...they just are exactly alike and want the same toys. Here are some photos of our play time:

and here are the boys fishing:

And they must have taken the chalk out, written on the ground and put the chalk back because i found this:

Sunday was a fun day too. Gavin and Chris went to Sea World...and I stayed home and got ready for Easter and I baked. Lots and lots of fun.

So that is the end of our fun as far as photos. After our fun weekend our friends and neighbor had a party for his college masters nursing graduation. We went over for that and had a great time. Sooo...the theme this weekend seemed to be friends....Next up? I am on vacation this week although I spend 1/2 my day at work today. Tomorrow Gavin and I head to Clearwater to stay overnight with Blake and Sandy our friends who moved away. Thursday we go get our passports for the cruise and we are going to go to the Orlando Science Center.....catch up with you all next week!
