Hello everyone! Whew...what a fabulous and fun weekend. That is the good news. The bad news is that my camera literally did not come along for the ride. Oh well. This is what we have got. Chris and Gavin watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer the other night. Thanks to Grandma Lollis for calling and reminding us because Gavin loved it: Love this guy:
While on the subject...Gavin just has memorized from beginning to end every song there is for Christmas. I have tried to catch him on tape but he is tight lipped when that camera goes on. Needless to say I love his little songs and this season has been so much fun. He still ooooo's and wowwww's when we walk in any store and he sees all the decos. Usually he says "Mommy mommy they are BEAUUUUUUtiful!".
anyway....our weekend was packed full of fun. Chris and I went Santa shopping for Gavin and made a pit stop in the the Cheesecake Factory on Friday night. That was a lot of fun. Did a little celebrating of my birthday early.
Saturday we had basketball. Here is a photo of the only way Gavin gets a shot:
I am going to add some videos after this since I am short on photos. Also will add a video of the warm up before basketball. This is pretty much the only part of basketball Gavin is interested in.
That was only the beginning on Saturday. Before basketball we had team photos. Afterwards Gavin had a nap and then a birthday party. Thomas theme. He came un-glued. He loved it. There was also a bounce house. Great added bonus. Next was on to a family baby shower and celebration for our friends Sean and Kristy. They lovingly welcomed Ana Rose to their family through adoption in October and this was a fabulous celebration of this blessing! We are just over the moon for this family. Guess what else? There was a bounce house at this party as well. Needless to say, Gavin slept well on Saturday night.
Sunday was washing clothes and getting the boys ready for their trip since they leave on Thursday. This mommy is very very very sad already but am trying to savor every single second before they leave.
Lastly, I bring to you more of our decorations.
That is all folks. Hope you have a great week.
