a lot of days late and definately a lotta dollars short.......

Hello...it is almost the weekend again and Gavin and I just returned from a trip to TN to visit my mother.  This is a recap of that trip together with our week prior.....

First, the Flyers were in the Stanley Cup. Of course, we had to watch the game and Gavin was the good luck charm...

It did not end well, however, it was a great game!

Gavin graduated from him Toddler AA class and this is a picture of him on his last day with "Twinkle" who was one of his teachers this year.

on to Advanced PreSchool AA.

Last weekend we had some friends in town from PA.  We hit Disney and it was a hot but fun day....

Sunday...early..it was off to Nashville......Gavin was so good on the plane.  Having his car seat was a big plus:

First, upon our arrival, he got licked to death by Pepper, my moms dog.  He got really good at saying "no licking Pepper!"  Next victim was the cat Abby.  He loved that cat!  Watch them get friendly, with Pepper watching and wanting in on the action and then the cat taking off:

Next it was off to ride the tricycle....

and then play with "alligators" which are known to most people as clothes pins.....

The next day we headed out to Fort Campbell to see the fire trucks.......

Gavin got a personal tour and even got to sit in the fire truck....

Oh...I forgot to mention the tractor ride with PAW PAW PAT.........

Sorry to jump all over the place but pictures are a pain in the butt to move on this blog thing!

Back to the fire trucks....Gavin had a blast and then we headed over to see the airplanes and helicopters:

That evening it was more bubbles than you can shake a stick at:

and then off to water the plants with grammie.

This had to have been Gavins favorite part of the whole trip...together with light up bugs...otherwise known as lightening bugs to us........

Next on the  tour was  a drive out to see the baffalos in the Land Between the Lakes.  No buffalos, however, we stopped at an interactive working farm from the civil war period called "The Homeplace".  Really cool  place but it was just too blazing hot to enjoy.

Tuesday night my mom had some of her very very nice friends over for dinner.  We had a great time laughing and enjoying each other and the food was just outstanding.  Gavin was a little crazy that night but we got him calmed down by telling him that he could go water the plants again with grammie.  It worked like a charm!

Last day we took a drive up to Fort Donelson National Battlefield.  What a beautiful park on the Cumberland River.  Here are a few shots:

As always, all good things must come to an end.  Here is Gavin at the airport playground.....

Back to reality and hope everyone is having a great week.  We will update Sunday :)
